Post / Pre-Wedding
A chapter that is simply yours
A wedding belongs to many people.
Families, friends, traditions, timelines, and the long list of things that must happen before the day can be called complete. That is part of what makes it beautiful.
But before all of that arrives, there is something smaller.
Two people who decided.
Imagine the Session
There is no schedule pressing against you.
You arrive, you settle, and for a while the only thing being attended to is the two of you. A conversation carries on longer than it needs to. Someone laughs at something that would not be funny to anyone else.
One look may feel soft and quiet. Another may reflect your style, your culture, or the life you are building.
There is time to try more than one idea.
And by the wedding morning, standing in front of a camera no longer feels like a new thing. It feels like returning to people you have already spent an afternoon with.
This May Be Right for You If
- You would love photographs of the two of you, before or after the wedding.
- You need imagery for invitations, announcements or your wedding website.
- You would like to explore more than one look, without a timeline waiting.
- You would like to feel more comfortable in front of a camera before the celebration.
- Or you would simply like a chapter that belongs to no one else.
What You Are Choosing
Not a portrait session.
Time.
Time to notice one another. Time to make something personal. Time to remember who the two of you were before the day became wonderfully busy.
Thoughtfully Included
- Two Hours
- Long enough to stop being photographed and simply start being together. The first while is usually spent forgetting the camera is there. That part is not wasted time. It is the reason the rest of the session looks like you.
- One Photographer
- One person, one conversation, no crew arranging itself around you. There is nobody to perform for.
- Two Looks
- Two ideas, rather than one compromise. One may be softer and more personal. The other may reflect your style, your culture, or something you have wanted to try. There is time for both.
- 30 Photographs, 10 Retouched
- A third of your images receive closer attention beyond the usual editing, suited to invitations, framing, and the photographs you would like to feel particularly refined.
- A Creative Director
- Someone thinking about how it should look, so that neither of you has to. Location, light, styling, how the two ideas should differ from one another. The decisions are made before you arrive.
- A 30-Minute Consultation
- A short conversation beforehand. What you would like it to feel like, what you would rather avoid, and anything you would like the photographs to be used for. It means the session begins already knowing you.
Before You Decide
Not every couple needs this.
For those who value portraits, ease and a little space before everything begins, it often becomes the most personal part of the experience.
Before the day belongs to everyone, let it belong to you.
