It Started at a Bakery

Jessica is an entrepreneur and digital creator; Eric is an architect. They met in 2018 at a bakery, of all places. Jessica had popped in for bread; Eric was nearby, and her car was blocking his. As he moved, he stopped, leaned over and asked, "Are you Jessica? I think I saw a video of you last night, you were getting married, right?" She laughed: "No, that was just clickbait." The drivers behind him started honking, so he handed her his card and asked her to text him.

The old Jessica would have tossed the card. Instead she got home and thought, "What's the harm?", and they've been inseparable from that very day.
