Becoming Awoonor-Williams: Eric & Jessica's Kumasi Wedding
It started with a blocked car and a clickbait video — and ended in Kumasi, with two people who'd been inseparable ever since. This is Eric & Jessica.
It Started at a Bakery
Jessica is an entrepreneur and digital creator; Eric is an architect. They met in 2018 at a bakery, of all places. Jessica had popped in for bread; Eric was nearby — and her car was blocking his. As he moved, he stopped, leaned over and asked, "Are you Jessica? I think I saw a video of you last night — you were getting married, right?" She laughed: "No, that was just clickbait." The drivers behind him started honking, so he handed her his card and asked her to text him.

The old Jessica would have tossed the card. Instead she got home and thought, "What's the harm?" — and they've been inseparable from that very day.

The Details
Every part of the day was anticipated down to the last detail — the stationery, the table she'd dreamed of, her Iscah candles glowing against the place settings. The kind of preparation that tells you exactly how much this day meant.

The First Look
There's nothing like the first look — the bride walking in, the groom turning, the breath he forgets to take. Jessica in deep magenta, every bead catching the light; Eric, steady, undone all the same.

The Ceremony
Then came the part they'd both been waiting for: the walk down the aisle, the exchange of rings, the kiss, and the petals thrown over them the moment they were announced — for the first time — as husband and wife.

The Celebration
What followed was Kumasi at its warmest: family, food, music and a couple who couldn't stop smiling. #BecomingAwoonorWilliams, made official, surrounded by everyone who saw it coming long before they did.
